Notes from the lovers
01.
How did you both meet ?
Your average 'girl next door' story. My parents retired and moved to Noosa around 7 years ago. I went to visit them from Sydney one weekend and was sunbaking in our backyard along the canal, and Michael's dog escaped from his backyard next door and ran over to mine. Michael followed chasing after his dog and that's how we met! 6 years later we got engaged!

what did you love most about your venue ?
I loved that it was a hinterland wedding and that Yandina Station took care of everything for you. They have worked with all our suppliers multiple times, so we didn't even need a wedding planner or anything like that because it was such an easy process. The food exceeded our expectations and was really wholesome and delicious.
03.
how did you spend the morning ?
i wanted to enjoy the day with A clear mind - I went for a solo jog and swim that morning to clear my head and relax, a good 'getting ready' playlist and a glass of champagne before the ceremony to ease the nerves!

something unique about your ceremony ?
Our celebrant is a good friend of ours, so his speech documenting our journey and having known us since we first started dating was super special. He cleverly told our story and even whipped out the maracas and sang bits of 'Girl from Ipamena' that my Brazilian family were thrilled about!
