tell us all about the proposal !
Jeremy proposed to me on a secluded sandbar off North Shore. we were there with our families celebrating the beginning of the Christmas holidays when he proposed to me in front of them all. Little did I know he had it all planned with them and they had flowing champagne in the boat ready to celebrate. It was perfect.
what style of food service did you choose?
we decided on a share feast for the dinner sitting. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. The shared feast was beautiful as it got people talking and enjoying different tastes.
one thing you knew you wanted to include in the styling?
One take away?
Don’t take it all too seriously. This is the best day of your life. We stayed at the venue, so we had our close friends and family over for Welcome Drinks and Nibbles the day before. It allowed us to have that special one on one time with them, take in the venue the day before and just spend some special time all together in the lead up.
One of the number one items on my list was I wanted large palm leaves up the poles in the tent, to give a tropical British India feel.
Willow Bud made this happen and it was just perfect and breathtaking.
