What did you love most about your venue ?
The Hideaway was not only a beautiful venue to have our ceremony and reception, it also has sentimental meaning to us. Michelle's Mum grew up on a pineapple farm just across the road from the venue and Glens Mum grew up in nearby Maleny. The location has been in the hearts of our family for years and we couldn't think of anywhere more perfect to tie the knot!

what made you choose a drinks on arrival board ?
We are avid party planners. We wanted the guests to have just as much fun as we would have and wanted to start the celebrations off right from the get go. We came across a wine wall online and knew we had to find one! Glen designed a great sign for the middle of the wine wall which said 'Grab a wine, as you look divine!'. Harrison & Co Event Hire made our wine wall dreams come true!

a planning tip for other couples ?
Be as organised as you can prior to the day so you can really relax and take it all in on the day. And don't be scared to delegate tasks to your bridal party to help you out.
Michelle organised catering for the morning of the wedding through Maleny Food Co. so no one had to worry about preparing food. It was absolutely delish and everyone was so relaxed, just enjoying getting pampered!

tell us all about your stand out suppliers !
Oh! Gosh! They were honestly ALL magnificent. If I had to pick a couple though I'd say Oh Honey Florals - our flowers were just stunning! Haleigh Hing - our live acoustic artist. His voice is out of this world! Mears Productions - our videographer. Glen and I are no models and awkward as hell in front of a camera but he captured the day so well and was so great to work with! And I won't be forgetting Cupcake Elegance. Oh my goodness! That cake was so darn delicious! And looked amazing! Before that day, I don't think I'd ever tasted an attractive cake that tasted good. I still dream about the taste of that wedding cake. Yum!
