How did you find planning a DIY backyard wedding?
I found it became easy when looking at instagram, as we could get ideas for suppliers and the vibe that we wanted to create on the day. I also made a mood board or two using my iPad!

The coastal and relaxed vibe in conjunction with being by the water! We also loved the hamptons feel and minimalist aesthetic.

Tell us about Choosing white bridesmaid dresses & Finding your dress
I’m pretty picky, so I knew when I was at made with love that I loved their styles, and they were pretty affordable too! I definitely wanted neutral for the bridesmaids and am so happy with having white/cream dresses for the girls. A few people said “but what if you don’t stand out” but I did not feel that way at all and felt the white complimented my dress perfectly.

Most important supplier?
Photographer definitely, it is great to be able to look back at all the moments!
But having a stylist was soo, so helpful as they went in and sorted everything out, all I had to do was tell them the vibe we wanted. It saved a lot of stress, and even though I’m pretty particular they ensured I got exactly what I wanted!
