Best part of elopeing?

We loved having our daughter Bambi with us to witness our love and we loved how chilled, stress free and fun the whole day was.

tell us about your decision to have a Noosa beach elopement

Matthew and I have never been fussed about having a wedding but knew we would want to get married on the beach somewhere, so we both thought it would be special If we eloped on our 10 year anniversary. Matt asked me out on 1.1.12 and proposed to me on 1.1.18 so this date is very special to us. Noosa came to our minds so we contacted Ellie from Sunshine weddings and sent her our vision for our wedding within a week or two Ellie had put it all together. The process with Ellie was fun and stress free just the way planning a wedding should be. We highly recommend if you are planning on getting married somewhere you do not live or know the area well to hire a stylist/planner.
we always imagined getting married at the beach and it turned out beautiful. It was raining all day however someone was definitely looking after us because as soon as we arrived at the beach the rain went away and there were blue skies.

Tell us about your wedding style

I always had the boho style saved in an album on my phone for our wedding and when we decided we wanted to elope we still wanted to have a wow factor and Ellie made our vision come to life. Finding the dress was a little difficult because I didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted something beautiful and also our elopement was a surprise so I didn’t have anyone I could talk to about or get opinions from. I came across an Instagram account called BibiLuxe which have boho wedding dresses at an affordable price however it was from overseas. I took the risk sent my measurements and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome was great quality and fitted well.

Must have's for the day?

Photographer – We have so many amazing photos we can now look back on forever

Videographer – Because we eloped with no family or friends, we are so happy we had our day filmed so our family and friends can watch it so they don’t feel like they completely missed out.

What did you do instead of a traditional reception

A picnic on the beach - The picnic set up was perfect, the food was amazing and it was a cute little intimate ceremony we got to share together.
