what made you choose a sunrise ceremony ?
If we were unable to have the large wedding we had planned, we wanted to do something
just as memorable and exciting, so we chose to do a sunrise wedding on an epic cliff edge.
We loved the idea of watching the sun rise while we said our vows.
tell us about your venue !
Having a really small wedding meant we had enough time to sit and enjoy the moment after
sunrise, there was no rushing for photos or canapes straight afterwards. We had planned a
full day of things to do (including nap so we could make it to the dinner reception). We went
back to our glamping accommodation and had a beautiful breakfast, more photos then an
outdoor hot tub. We all got changed and had a huge catered lunch then a much needed nap
before a small walk, a river swim and sunset champagnes. Then we got back into our full
wedding attire and had a really fun, fancy reception dinner, everyone gave a speech and
then we danced together until 2am! It ended up being the longest day and still it went so
something you'd love other couples to know ?
Focus on the parts of a wedding you really want and forget everything else! Don’t
incorporate aspects of a wedding just because it’s traditional or you feel pressured, the day
is about celebrating you guys and your commitment to your future- nothing else matters
