About the business...
When did your interest/passion become your business?
do you remember your very first gig?
it was my sister in laws wedding. i remember there was such a positive and fun vibe in the room and i knew from that day that i wanted to be apart of many more because being a part of a brides wedding day is such a privilege.
I grew up with 4 sisters so i was always playing with their hair. i finished school and soon started my hairdressing apprenticeship. Not long after qualifying I became a mum and started my own business. Who doesn’t like a challenge, right?
What's your favourite part of the job?
Seeing everything for a bride come together when she gets dressed on her wedding day.
i have so many inspirational stylists that i look up to, i love learning and my passion for hair drives me to be the best.
If you were a drink, what would you be?
cup of tea
if you had a whole week free, where would we find you ?
staying in an air bnb with my husband and 3 kids, somewhere quite but must has wifi so i can still scroll through my phone with a cuppa and watch online education as i'm obsessed.
hinterland or sea?
America. i hear the shopping's cheaper lol. i'm always upgrading my tools and want to have the latest of all things hair.
What's one bit of advice you'd give couples beginning
their planning journey?
there's so much involved in planning a wedding. I've done it myself. my advice would be to remember that the wedding is about you and your fiance. ask for help and get others involved in the planning and just have fun with it.
Where can we go to learn more?
